El Paisano is our favorite Mexican market in Rio Rancho. It is always an easy stop for us during the work week, especially when our team needs our jerky fix. They have a great market, and they even have an amazing little restaurant in the back, which makes it even more worth visiting. The lemon jerky is easily the most beloved by our team, followed closely by the red chile.

We regularly shop at this market. The jerky is great and the store-made tortillas are excellent. Great selection of spices and Mexican items. Very helpful employees. We haven't tried the restaurant or the meat counter yet (vegetarians in the family), but it looks great. The roasted chilis are a must buy when in season.

el paisano market hacen los mejores tamales!!! No me gustan mucho los tamales, pero estos están riquísimos! every time i come here the workers are always friendly and they are usually never sold out of anything. their prices are great and very affordable including in the butcher! their butcher has a pretty large variety from chicken,pork,beef, i think lamb, to taco meats etc. always fresh, and they have a pretty good turnaround. when they've been out of meat, they usually get more within the following day. their pastries are THE BEST!!!! that's all i gotta say! the salsas are always a perfect combo of flavor and spice, as well as the produce is usually always stocked up with cheese varieties, chorizo, freshly made sour cream, fresh cilantro and other fresh veggies! i haven't tried anything from the restaurant but considering how good everything else is, i can't wait to try something from their concina! muchas gracias por todos.

Nice grocery store! We stopped here just to browse around and it was a good experience. They had a good variety of Mexican groceries and fresh food. And they even have some seating inside if you order food to eat there. Nice place overall!

This place a bit of everything and it’s so nice to see how far El paisano has come to. They also have an area in which you can order hot meals. The reason I gave this place 4/5 was because it was lacking customer service. Otherwise it’s a nice place in town in which you can find a wide selection of Hispanic items and food products.
